About The Founder

SML Energy Renewables is a development firm to develop wind and solar utility-scale, rooftop, solar pump, commercial and industrial solar, wind projects in India.

Arul Balan, Director of SML Energy Renewables with a background in the Renewable Energy profession for 21 years mainly in Wind and Solar. Arul’s belief in the Economic and Environmental imperative of transitioning from fossil fuels to clean energy through renewable sources led him to form an Infrastructure & Resources Company to facilitate Large-scale Wind projects and Solar mega projects and rooftop solutions right from early 2017, a passion that remains the same today.
